The Best Marketing Strategy in the World is Absolutely Useless if Your Copywriting... STINKS!

getting that well known Marketing guy to work his marketing magic for us. And do
you know what? He charges £4000.00 a day!"
Bragging rights is all well and good, so long as there's a measurable result
at the end of the investment.
But... what happens when the business adviser, consultant or whatever name you
want to give it, finds all the hidden assets in your business and how to take
advantage... is able to show how to exploit all the leakages in your business...
gives you a marketing plan to follow and implement as soon as his work with you
is over...
Then what?
From my research and snooping around, there seems to be an enormous number of
businesses who have indeed hired outside expert help to help with sales,
profits, systems, marketing... but... have done NOTHING with the information they've
paid for!
Alarming?
Not really. You see, us humans have this unusual behavior. It's wanting
something bad enough, and when we get it, we rarely do anything with it.
Look at exercise equipment, diets, business opportunities...
How many people do you know who've dived into any of the above, probably with
the greatest intentions in the world... but then... it all fizzled out for them?
Let me tell you that I know quite a few!
And what's the statistic with those who buy a book? The startling figure is
only 10% of people who purchase a book, actually have the desire, patience,
discipline... to get through the FIRST CHAPTER!
Remarkable.
So, what this means is that there's a handful business owners who will
actually DO SOMETHING with the advice to improve their business.
But, that's not the only thing.
Of those businesses who have been handed a MARKETING BLUEPRINT to work from,
the key component in stitching it all together... is the COPYWRITING, THE SALES
COPY.
When you think about it, a business will never progress to the heights they
want if the sales copy doesn't get written. I mean, nothing happens.
Products or services can't get purchased... joint ventures can't be put
together... seasonal promotions can't get realised... email campaigns get put on the
back burner...
As you can see, getting the sales copy written, is... EVERYTHING!
And that's true for any business - the small mom and pop corner shop, the
freelancer, the professional practice, the medium sized business or the huge
corporate elephant. Everything depends on making the sales copy work in order to
support the marketing strategy, the tactic, the idea.
Just look at your own business.
What would happen to your sales, profits, customers... if your existing sales
copy was enhanced, boosted, transformed? Wouldn't you honestly see a greater
return for your effort?
And what about the new or additional products you're thinking about offering
your customers and prospects... what would happen if there was no promotional or
marketing material written, no website created, no forward momentum created?
Well, the plain and simple answer is NOTHING would happen. And, it'll
continue to be that way unless and until THE ADVERTISING COPY GETS WRITTEN!
And as you'll know from the marketing and copywriting articles you've been
receiving for a little while now, the sales copy and advertising writing I'm
talking about has all to do with direct response advertising, and not the
institutional, technical or traditional based copywriting that's quite frankly...
A BORE TO READ.
And... just to reiterate, direct response copy is writing that's designed to
sell, to create a customer, to promote a business for a specific end result,
without boring the prospect or customer.
You see, purchasing and selling, shouldn't be a boring process, especially
for the purchaser. I mean, the poor soul is bombarded, day in day out with
hundreds of sales and marketing messages.
And, the fact of the matter is our prospect could brush right through a
number of advertising messages EVEN THOUGH IT COULD BE A PRODUCT OR SERVICE THAT
THE BOMBARDED PERSON, WANTS!
So, can you now see how vital it is to ensure that your goal of your business
is to get the Copywriting DONE for your particular product or service?
Can you honestly see how stalled your dreams, aspirations and ambitions can
be, simply because of the advertising isn't getting done?
Isn't it true that you'd probably crank out a lot more promotions for your
business (which means even more sweet profits flying into your bank account!) if
your ability to write the advertising copy for them was done faster, more
accurately and, with more focus and intensity?
And, what about every single area of your life... don't you feel that if you
were able to craft effective, persuasive written or oral communication, your
life would take on a completely different shape and colour?
I personally think it would!
And it can all happen for you, the moment you decide to shrug off all the
inhibitions & pre-conceived notions you may have about Direct Response
Advertising Writing, or, about your own ability to make things happen.
For once you set your mind to it and decide to run with the ideas and
thoughts in this article, the words will just flow and your life will alter,
dramatically.
Don't you just love the idea of getting people to part with their money and
throw it in your direction, simply because of your ability to string words and
sentences together in order to get people to buy?
Well, that's what'll happen once you decide, truly decide, to make marketing
at the heart of your business operations, and, to truly 'get' that nothing major
happens until THE ADVERTISING COPY GETS WRITTEN.
