This is such a simple idea, and so effective, that I really don't know why we don't do it more often.
Begin your day by closing your eyes for a couple of minutes and focusing hard on as many good things in your day as you can think of.
It doesn't matter how trivial they are. Or how big.
Perhaps you hate your job but there is one person there who you really enjoy seeing. Focus on that person.
Perhaps there is a particular part of the work process that gives you satisfaction. Concentrate on it.
Perhaps in all the sea of your life, you have a special friend who you can really relax with. Think about them.
You can find dozens of things if you really try. We all have something that is positive.
By starting your day with all these good and positive things in your mind you recharge your mental batteries and fill yourself up with positive energy.
And when you think about those good things, don't forget to feel the joy of them with your entire being, not just your thinking mind.
Let them affect your breathing, your pulse, your emotions and ... don't forget to smile!
