FOCUS part 2

I have been on holiday recently and of course came back and had a bit of catching up to do regarding what has been going on in the forum. To my surprise I continue to see a repeat of the age old problem of trying to 'run before you can walk' syndrom - I have therefore concluded it is worth repeating what I said in my last post - hopefully folk are reading this and inwardly digesting it to - I cannot emphasise this enough: Follow One Course Until Successful! Another, which is equally as important, is to take ONE step at a time. In the past 24 hours alone I have actually sorted out three separate individuals who have blatantly not done any of the above and gone blindly forward 'without' reading the information they have before them, or worse, disregarding advice given and literally skipped some very important and basic steps. The consequence is that they have ended up in a whole heap of trouble because they have punched buttons in their hosting package that they know nothing about; or have deleted files, folders and directories quite incorrectly as well as uploading bits and pieces into there web site in places they should not be. All of these sort of events causes needless problems - especially, if you have 'not' asked for help here in Nick's forum! Do please ask if you are not sure. Save yourself a lot of aggravation, and save time for those who end up having to sort out mistakes that really need not occur if only one had taken one step at a time or asked a question! Folk are here to help you know! Ron
